Auxmod Basic is back in stock - where is the advanced?

Per sylfex's website regarding the basic,"They are IN STOCK" (http://www.sylfex.com/products/AuxMod/)

I've been on the waitlist for the advanced since August 2005. They raised my hopes when it was stated they were supposed to be going out to pre-selected beta customers this past spring. Then my excitement was tempered when they stated that hardware supply problems would delay all Auxmod units until the fall. It's almost winter, does anyone know whether the Advanced unit is something other than vaporware? Has anyone seen one of the beta units?

I guess there is some good news for those still in need of a basic unit, their site does state they have enough supplies for the basic unit to fulfill orders through January.

Do I give up my dream?

I'm just happy that the Basic module is in stock! Just bought one, I have a feeling they'll go fast.

Re: Auxmod Basic is back in stock - where is the advanced?

I'm with you, bbcb. I hesitated to get the Basic because I thought the Advanced was right around the corner. Then, the Basics were out of stock. Now, the Advanced must be close! please!

Maybe I should buy the Basic. You know the day after I install it in my car the Advanced will be available!

I'm still holding out for the Advanced. Supposedly, I'm #600 on the wait-list, so I should be able to get one from the first batch.

Oh wow, i do remember when i bought my Auxmob Basic this May-June 2006 and they still had Auxmod Advance in wait list, personally with such a long wait and its cost i think it does not worth it, good luck those, hope someday they will make this Advance Auxmod, good luck.

Re: Auxmod Basic is back in stock - where is the advanced?

I just installed mine today! Got a ground loop isolator from Radioshack and it sounds fantastic. Unfortunately, I was unplugging my iPod charger (FlexibleDock) from the power outlet and it pulled the panel out about 1/2" !!! I'm so mad! It seems to be stuck there and I can't open the ash tray door. It still works but I'm nervous to touch anything.

I was tired of waiting for the advanced and went ahead and bought the basic. Hopefully will get to install it today (they shipped it right away, but USPS is being extra slow...holidays I guess).

I can't open the ash tray door of my 2006 Mazda 3s Touring sedan. Has anyone had this problem?
