Re: Decorative Door Trim (Red)

Showcase Mazda (one of this boards sponsors) has them for $105* * *http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...tegoryID=41837

or if you do a search you may find a thread about painting them, there is at least one person that I think has, on this forum.

Re: Decorative Door Trim (Red)

Does anyone else know? I joined to find this out a 3 is my daily driver i was just curious cause id like to make the interior look a little more "custom" i guess. Even if you have seen something on ebay or know somewhere i can get them for cheap that would be reallly helpful! Thanks

trd, which part are you talking about. Is it the door panels where the window controls are?

Kodos, now that I went back to that link fatman posted above and actually scrolled down a bit, I see that he's talking about the decorative interior door panel trim. When I first checked that link, I saw the pictures at the top for the door molding and thought they were talking about that...oops, blonde moment. haha

Re: Decorative Door Trim (Red)

^^ Yeah that's what I was thinking.

I'm bad with html links ( I know, I'm an idiot) but,

trdcelica, go down a little bit to the interior modifications section.* In there, about 3/4 of the way down, there is a "Cutom Vinyl Walkthrough" thread, or something to that effect, that tells you how to do it with vinyl (I'm sure you can order red vinyl)* Also, in the interior mods section, there are several threads on how to paint those door pieces, they even detail what type of paint to use, how to remove the pieces, etc.

Maybe someone can give you links to them, but if not, just go down there and look, they'll be easy to find.* good luck!

Edit: is this what your looking for?

Re: Decorative Door Trim (Red)

Not much to trust yerself about, you remove the entire piece, spray it, let it dry, then reattach it.
