I got my 2015 3s Touring less than a week ago and the only mod I've done so far is install a receiver hitch for my bike rack. What have you done to/for your 3 lately?
I got a Curt Hitch but I think that may have been a mistake. After I ordered it I found out that Curt requires a stabilizing strap for all non-trailer loads like bike racks, cargo carriers, etc. So I got Curt's stabilizing strap but I can't use it with my hatch back because the strap will have to rest on the top spoiler and that's just not going to work. Aside from the rubbing on the paint, the pressure of the strap will collapse the spoiler. But since I'll only be carrying one bike I'm thinking that should be OK so I'm going to have to risk it. I already installed the hitch. To avoid this issue go with the Draw-Tite #24912 as their design doesn't require anything else. Mind you I have a hatch so the part number may be different for you if you have a sedan. I don't know if they use the same hitch for both hatch and sedan.
A guy had a Drawtite hitch on Craigslist a while back for $50. I really wish I could have picked it up. I've been using a crappy universal strap rack when I took my bike somewhere. It doesn't work very well on the hatch because it doesn't have a flat surface to rest up against.
Just installed WeatherTech front and rear window deflectors. It was a snap and looks great. Much better than the cheaper ones that stick on to the window frame.
After some dude in a Corolla decided to back into my bumper and leave a few scratches and Spider Web cracks.....I wanted to cover up some of the scars on the bumper by the headlight...I re-did the Blk Vinyl I think it came out a lot better than I thought!!!
