5x114 vs 5x114.3

sorry this is probably a really dumb question but i couldnt find and answer in the forum. i remember something being said that 5x114 is the exact same as 5x114.3 i was just trying to make sure that a 5x114 hole pattern will fit on a 3

Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3 (5x4.5) is the correct specification
is there really a 5x114? maybe they rounded it off....

thats what I was thinking, it has to be 114.3, probably a typo of some kind because I have never seen that size before.

The vast majority of normal passenger cars have either a 114.3mm (which corresponds to 4.5&quot or a 100mm bolt circle, and most recent models are 5 bolt (5x114.3mm is our car's spec, which is quite common). A lot of people round to just 114 when talking about the bolt circle, since there aren't any consumer wheels manufactured to just 114, they are all 114.3.

Agreed. Whenever I've seen 114, I've just assumed they rounded off.
