Angry Popping Noise Coming From Driver's Side Strut After Installing Koni STR.T

Hello!

I need your help. I ordered new struts/shocks from TireRack recently for my 2005 Mazda3 2.3S Hatch. I had them delivered to TireRack's local installer. After picking the car up I noticed a popping noise coming from the driver's side wheel well when turning and going over bumps. For example, I can easily replicate it going in and out of my drive way while turning.

Unfortunately the installer is at a loss to what the problem is and I even went to another local garage where they too could not pin point it. So here I am asking you for any advice. So far I have replaced the strut mount with a Monroe mount. I have also replaced front sway bar end links with Moog.

Here is a video of the sound.

The noise is at 5 seconds, 14 seconds, 20 seconds, 27 seconds.

Thank you for any tips you might have to get rid of this annoyance.

Try to clean and lubricate surface around top rubber hats, under and over mounting position as well. That sound like rubber noise, I have no other idea...
You can maybe check other rubber parts around suspension...
Also, that rubber hat (not sure how do you call it) make that noise more likely in cold weather condition...

Could be that they accidentally popped the roller bearing piece at the top of the strut and either didn't find all the ball bearing or didn't lube them back up.

They didn't replace the stock strut mount when installing the strut to begin with. I actually had another shop install the Monroe mount in hopes of getting rid of the noise but it didn't help. That is also why I replaced the end links to no avail.

The part I'm talking about is not part of the mount, it sits on the front struts to allow the assembly to swivel during turning (I believe). The first time I replaced the struts on my 3 I discovered this surprise.
