2005 Mazda 3 2.3L upgrades

Hey people, I know very little about upgrading cars but i am looking to try to get my Mazda 3 to perform better both in handling and performance. I'm gearing to do one big mod a month and cost really isn't that big of a deal I just want it to be the best as far as results go for the car's performance.
I'm looking for any input from people who know a lot more about this than I do .

although shouldn't he do the tranny ans LSD second month and turbo 3rd? this will allow him to break in the clutch properly before boost. =D

Good point! I was thinking it'd be fun to feel how shitty an open diff is with all that new power, then appreciate the LSD more. Either works

isn't that the trust, what an amazing upgrade it is from the crappy 5speed LSD to even the MS3 LSD one of the best mods I've done yet

Re: 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L upgrades

Hi.. I'm trying to do the same thing here, I'm in the process of building the engine, its really hard to find shop in the net that sell our parts. Which ones you guys recommend? For the piston, if I'm going to boost the car should I go with a 8.8 or 9 to 1 compression? And what else would you recommend to built the engine? any ideas, list or recommendations are really welcome..

I don't really have any experience with building engines and what not, but check out the forum sponsors. For Aftermarket look up StreetUnit, ProtegeGarage, TriPoint, CorkSport. Just look around.
OP Month 5: Coilovers
With all that power you need better handling and better tires too.

I started with that already, I have teins super street, 18 tenzo racing rims and racing tires. I the process is the tri-point eng. sway bar. I just need the power.
