ABS LIGHT

Well driving on my street, I notice that my ABS light turned on and the roads are pretty icy, as it just snowed. So I just slammed on my brakes and looked at my wheels through my window, and I just slid, tires just stopped, no ABS. Then started it after 5min later and the light was still on. I think its just snow build up on the sensor. I'd like to know other peoples opinions on this.

Re: ABS LIGHT

1st, don't slam on your brakes when the roads are icy!

After you drive the car for a short bit, the light should go off.
