Problem #1 : My Suspension.

So, I have had my a Mazda 3 2005 2.0 for a little over a year now, and since then it has managed to gain many issues. But the first of many i want to address is the suspension. When i go over any kind of bump, the car is loud. Particularly in the back. The best way i can explain it is as follows - As i go over a bit of a deep bump, you definitely HEAR a sound as if the wheel sinks into the car. I know i am still being a bit vague, but it is honestly hard to explain. you hear a loud knocking of metal every single time i hit a bump as if a bracket was broken and every time the car bounced, that loose bracket would hit the car. When i drive over some bumpy roads, the car sounds.... UGLY. It is simply not a smooth ride anymore. I really need help at this point because i already replaced The motor mounts, tie rods and all the stabilizer end links. Does anyone have any ideas? At this point i am desperate for a smooth ride and a silent car. BTW, Im willing to post pictures needed or even recordings. Just let me know

Have you looked at the shocks, including where they mount to the car?

Sway bar links typically make a clunk (grab one and shake it, if it feels loose it has play, replace)
Wheel bearings sound like a roar (lift car, grab top and bottom of tire, shake, if there's play, replace)
Tierod ends don't create noise (lift tire, shake side to side, if there's play, you need to isolate them to replace the correct One, apply weight on outer, if play persists, replace inner, if play is gone replace outer)
Struts create a clunk as well and create a floating ride (bounce test, or sit on it, if it comes up very slowly or not at all replace, check for leaks where did goes into assembly, if leaking, replace)

I do this from my phone. Do the BSD. slight vibration increase. Zoom-zoom 😎

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and it was doing kinda the same thing a lot of rattling in the back every time I hit a small hole or bump and when on the highway it will bounce none stop I replaced the shocks in the back and all that noise and bouncing went away maybe you should try doing the same

Thank you lots man, this helps. My shocks are so dirty I can't even see if there are leaks.

If the dirt looks wet then its leaking. I had to do my rear shocks within 5K miles of getting the car. There was a stiff bang when I went over bumps and if I hit one while going around a corner I could feel the entire rear of the car jump sideways. One of the shocks had leaked out its fluid and it felt like an stiff spring when it was compressed to a curtain point. I replaced them with KYB's and haven't had a problem since. They were easy to change too, just watch out of the mounting studs in the wheel well as some people have had them snap off. If the nut won't move or the stud is twisting don't force it, heat the nut it or cut it off.
