Mazda3 Rear Wiper Blade & Install Video

None of the autoparts stores stock the Mazda3 rear wiper in my area and I'm assuming others have the same problem. I found the wiper and a installation video:

Rear Wiper Blade: https://www.wipers123.com/product_di...amp;modelhid=3

Rear Wiper ( XX-D ) Install Video: https://www.wipers123.com/wiper_blad...ion_videos.php

I was always told not to force mechanical things, but you have to apply a fair amount of force to snap it out. Its much easier once you see it done.

Hope this helps.

Alternatively, get a wiper arm off a ford focus hatch and swap it over.

Now figure out a way to increase the pressure of the blade against the window.

I don't have that problem. Have you tried cleaning and lubercating the hinge at the base of the wiper arm?

I don't think the pressure has decreased, I just don't think the stock pressure is enough. In the winter it takes a ton of fluid and wiping to get the salt spray off.

Fillup, use go buy a focus wiper arm, it's a LOT stiffer. And you can use standard hook wiper blades which are better and cheaper.

A lot of the focus guys swap over to the 3 wiper arm for the "euro" look, That's the one thing I've noticed from my speed to my focus, the rear wiper works a LOT better on the focus.

Eh, the problem is def not big enough to warrant getting a different arm.
