Squeaky clutch

I've noticed recently that my clutch pedal is squeaky when I press it and release it. It's gotten better over the last few days but I'm still concerned about it. Is there some kind of grease/oil I can use on it or is this a bigger problem? I'd like to see if it's something I can fix before I hassle with the dealer. Know what I mean?

Re: Squeaky clutch

Find the pivot point for the clutch pedal and lube it up with some white lithium grease

Turn the radio up and forget about it. It's not hurting anything.

Mine does that too man. It's about annoying when I have someone with me and have the radio down. I'm just gonna tell my dealer to grease it up next visit. They shouldn't charge anything for it.

Re: Squeaky clutch

WD-40 did the trick for me but grease would be ideal. I know someone mentioned on another thread that there was some issue with a part of the clutch but I really don't feel like going through the hassle of dropping my car off at the dealership and have them tell me some bs like my aftermarket component speakers are the cause of the squeaking. You gotta get the pivot point and I believe there was also another piece of plastic that i shot cuz that was makin noise too

Re: Squeaky clutch

It was an issue with the clutch master cylinder for me and one or two other memebers. Most other people it is an issue with the clutch pedal assembly or the clutch ignition lockout switch. Try greasing it with some lithium grease. If it is an issue with the clutch master cylinder it is LOUD, you can't drown that out with the radio unless you like listening to it at 20+ volume all the time.

Yay for doing it by hand then! That will probably last about an hour tops.I was craving meat REALLY bad. plus, my mom gets really hot, so I was uncomfortable. So I have to really stretch.

Re: Squeaky clutch

mine comes and goes . My clutch squeaked in my previous car too. It ended up being a leaky clutch slave master cylinder, which had brake fluid/clutch fluid run down my pedal.
